QuadCam Machine Safety Vision System:
TECHNICAL OVERVIEW
Castell's QuadCam brings 3D imaging to the world of machine safety. This technology allows fast accurate detection of objects moving in and around machinery. Positioned above machinery where it can't be tampered with, QuadCam monitors out of the reach of machine operators and maintenance workers, thus allowing easy access to machinery when necessary.

By using 3D imaging, QuadCam solves problems experienced by older technologies that are currently used to protect employees from dangerous machinery. QuadCam ignores background objects, concentrating solely on people or unwanted objects detected within its field of view.
